Augsburg and Concord Railroad Company President and CEO Jeff Shearier unveiled today the updated and new image for revenue cars on the ACRR. This new image provides higher visibility for revenue cars as well as a bold statement on the viability of the ACRR to compete in these competitive days.
Boxcars will be painted a solid bright green, with yellow lettering. The road name size has increased, while the herald and slogan lettering remain the same. Several boxcars have already been repainted, and the entire boxcar fleet is scheduled for repainting in the next 6 months.
Hoppers are being painted in a high visibility yellow, with green lettering. At least one hopper has been wearing this scheme for some time. Future repaints will be done after the grain harvest and shipping season subsides.
