This trail runs along the ex MSTL railbeds between Chanhassen and Hopkins. The railroad was first built 1871, but part was redone
1903. A Carver County Trail part runs 1 Mile exactly down the last of Chaska Hill between Bluff Creek Drive and where MSTL Bridge #16 once stood.
The trail will one day continue and go into Chaska, but for now, you have to use the side of the road. After all the
rerouting from construction in the past years, the trail is about 13.7 Miles, not 11.6
